The London Borough of Redbridge is located North of London City airport a distance of 10 miles that would take around 25 minutes by taxi via the A406. It is located in north-east London and has a population of 281,400 according to 2011 statistics.

The history of the area can be traced back to prehistoric times and remains such as mammoth skeletons have been found in the area. The borough is characterised by its large open spaces and has the beautiful Epping Forest in its boundaries, with over 6000 acres of nature trails, a lake for watersports, country park areas and nature conservation attractions.
